My 2024 RXT X 325 first day out stalled

Just bought it , first day out , I had a great time with it , on my third trip of the day out it stalled on the way in , check engine light on , now cranking but not firing up, thank God I was near my dock
Marina states it’s a crank positioning sensor??? On a brand new jetski ??? Just baffled , I know shit happens but just saying like WTF !!!
