Is it bad to have two different motors in my boat

What do you mean? Like a 787 and a 720? You would want them evenly matched or they are going to be fighting each other for rpm and thrust.

One is a 657x the other is 717

Just bought it last week both engine's start up dude I bought it from said it's been sitting for two years I just want to clean everything do oil changes clean the carbs change fuel line pretty much clean replace everything.... But I want to make sure that I'm getting everything I need that's right for both engines
