I wouldn't.

You need a thinner oil. 75w-90.

140 is going to be the constancy of Honey.

You can get a bottle of 75w-90 synthetic at wall mart for $6.

Pump Oil

I have always used Mobil 1, LS, 75w-90 full synthetic oil for pump oil, a quart is about $10.00. I have used it for 2-3 seasons (I change pump oil twice a season) and the bottle is still almost half full. It has worked great and smells a lot better than the SeaDoo oil.

O Ring

You don't need to replace the O ring every time. Inspect the O ring, if it has nicks or has flat spots or is streached you need to replace it. If it looks O.K. and seals well reuse the old one.

Pump Oil

You need to fill the pump with oil to the top of the plug. I use an hand oil pump to install it under pressure. You can get one at an auto parts store or Walmart. Fill the pump, wait a few minutes, then add some more oil, you can't overfill.

Also while your at it, check the impeller and wear ring, the clearance between the impeller and wear ring is no more than .040", you can check it with a feeler guage.
