Missing something in front storage compartment

Question,
I have a 96 seadoo challenger and in the front storage compartment inbetween tach and speedo is an empty hole. You can see it in one of the pics I have posted in my profile. Can anyone tell me what goes here. I have a single 787 so not sure what else would go on it..

I do remember Karl, I think, posting a thread about a depth finder that would go there aftermarket, but want to know if Im still missing something

single motor, so...you have tach, oil/fuel gauge and sppedo...think it was something installed by owner, that didnt want to be sold with boat. A voltmeter would be cool, in that place...

That storage cover is from a different model. It should be green with 2 holes.
