Mikuni Carb/ Rotary Valve

I recently rebuilt my mikuni carbs for my 1996 Sea Doo GSX.

During the carb cleaning I also disassembled the engine top end for inspection and replacement of o'rings.

Upon reinstalling carb to engine I got thinking about the Rotary Valve. During the top end inspection I spun engine a few times.

Do I have to spin shaft so the Rotary Valve is sitting in a certain position before installing carbs?

nah...ur strait chief. If you removed the RV, then youd have problem...

I assumed it wouldn't affect it but wasn't 100% sure.
