^They have no idea............

He fits in with Idoo :)

Coastie and I will take you out if you ever make it south.

I miss those days on my XP going out Government cut. Fun times.

So was there a bet who ran out of gas first?
2 VS 4 strokes
:p

We did a run and then they turned around. All the 2-strokes topped off at one of the houses. Then went for a pretty good run 40-50 for probably 40 minutes. Turned around and came back

I put fuel in my 4-tec when we got back to the house. My other ski we never put gas in it. I just went to the station and filled them both up for a morning run.

So the answer is, the 2-strokes needed gas first.

I filled mine on the way home. Had no idea what the range was since this is my forst ski and have only owned it for 2 months but i burned 11.5 gallons and logged 72 miles for an avg of 6.3 mpg. Suggests my range is about 100 miles but that would be "empty" so maybe 90 is a good estimate.

It was a good day today:thumbsup: no tow ins, only a minor tangle with a tree branch for one, and one quick thinking left turn to get out of the way of a bass boat that was flyin.

Woke up this morning and my boat didnt sink so thats a good start

I pulled the mysteriously inoperative reverse bucket off the boat so I wouldnt have to hold it up with a strap

We made it to Salt Spring this morning. Video is of us leaving. The 2-strokes could have easily made the trip today.

Those spring pictures are impressive.

Was the water chilly?
Coastie has his suit one

It was a great ride and nice meeting everyone and now it's time to pull three motors but my guy a ses said no problem even though it was defiantly my fault they went boom

I made it in Friday afternoon after driving most of the state of Fl to pick up my new ski. Saturday was a huge day where I was happy to be able to fit everything in. It was good to meet the folks and see the usual suspects again. We had the longest ride I've ever run and both my skis came back running. Jason ran my carbon fiber X4 since he had bad luck the day before. I'm feeling pretty sore today but it was totally worth it. I had everyone that would take a rip on my skis in the evening and enjoyed watching them come back in with big eyes and big smiles. Everyone was great and I'm sure we will get more things like this together in the future.

Matt, speaking of a "next ride" at some point in the future, I can help with suggestions in Central Florida. I found an old post dating back to 2013 where folks were looking for ideas and you ended up in a "ok" place. I know of several chain of lakes, one in particular that is pretty awesome. It will be hard to beat a place like lake George and the St. John's but we have some great riding areas here (and lots of inexpensive hotels to choose from).

rdfish1. I towed my skis to the ride with the covers. There are marks all over my ski. So to answer your question, never again...

Towed them home without the covers. Didn't have to stop to adjust them like I did coming up.

Home safe. 700 miles round trip for me. No comparison to the guys that came down from Ohio !!!

Just wanted to take a moment and thank all that participated. It was a pleasure to meet you all and put a face to the name.

It is members like you that make this site what it is.

Thanks again !!!

I think you all should come north to Lake Cumberland or norris Lake
Agree. Norris is the better option for skis since it's narrower and winds around more. There are also huge rental houses on the water that sleep 25+ ppl and marinas everywhere.
