So last Sunday I took my sea doo out and while my finance was bringing it in my sea doo aluminum stand fell into the water in the boat loading/unloading part of the water. I was like noooooo, so thinking it was shallow water I jump feet first to try n see if I can see it. I get about eight feet down and don't see the concrete floor so I surface and let it go.. but now I'm thinking what the hell was I thinking I could have tangle myself and all these other scenarios Ahh! So lesson learn and now I can't stop thinking about it.. how deep do these boat ramps get I was about ten feet away from the water line

I had her driving back to ramp and the stand was resting on the side of the sea doo, as she was steering to the dock to drop me off she got really close to a boat so put my hands forward to push off from the boat and it fell right in.. I had no clue the water was so deep kinda freak me out . So if anyone wants a stand... Pyramid lake Calif :/

Alum so a magnet won't help. Get some swim fins and a mask and go diving for it. it's only 10 feet deep you should be able to get close to the bottom and see it. Unless it's really murky water.
Good Luck.

You can still get to the bottom if it's murky,Where do you think all the people go,that us cous' don't like?We don't put them in clear water.

Hey SDB.If it WAS steel.Where were you going to get the magnet from,A steel recycling yard

We have stores around here - Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight that sells bigger magnets for heavy items. some smaller one are already attached to a short pole for shallow water.

Apart from the water being cold and freezing the balls off a brass monkey,it's only 10 foot!
Back an empty trailer in.Attach an anchor to the boat winch and throw the thing in.Job done.We don't need to reinvent the wheel

Jacque Cousteau aboard the Calypso enters Pyramid lake in search of the elusive aluminum ski stand. Much like the LochNess Monster, the locals have reported sightings of the Aluminum Ski Stand for thousands of years. Jacque Cousteau hopes to get to the bottom of this mystery.

crisso - You mean to use the anchor as a hook to the stand.

Not a bad idea.
Get a grappling hook, you might catch some big fishes too........LOL

An anchor is a hook. That you don't have to buy.If you want to catch a fish with it,,just feed on a whole sheep for bait.

Ahahaha its aluminum a magnet wouldn't work. It fell in about 35+ feet I dived about 10 and could not see the bottom. Pyramid lake is filled with that stupid millfoil weed everywhere, s o I'm modding a rc submarine with a cam lol ill let u guys know how it goes. so far this lake has cost me a exhaust coupler, my prescription sunglasses, gf sunglasses, and my stand. :0
