maintenance code?

I just got my 2000 sea doo gtx rfi totally rebuilt. Ran perfect troughout the break in process. still runs just fine, but when I turn it on to start it, it says maintenance. i'm not sure what exactly it wants me to do. maybe someone on here could tell me what this means?

Isn't there a 10 hour maintenance period when first breaking in? Have you reached that time frame yet?

I had the maintenence light come on once on my 97 gsi. It turned out to be a loose ground.

I was told 2 gas tanks is break in period. i'm well passed that now at about 4 tanks.

It could just be a scheduled maintenance light, how many hours are on your ski? To turn it off hold the mode button for 10 seconds.
