I have a 99 Seadoo GTI.
When i run it out of water (to flush it), the impeller (i think) makes a loud, rattling, clanging metal type of noise. it quiets down when the jetski is in the water. i topped off the jet pump oil, but it still makes noise.
The jetski runs great. its fast and strong.
On a side note, the motor blew so i replaced the motor. the impeller was loud both before and after the engine transplant.
Any one have any idea what the noise is caused by and how to fix it ? What could happen down the road if i don't do anything about this noise? Is this noise normal ?
