Ok so too the forum I posted alittal while back I had my 1997 seadoo XP worked on at stealership and what they did...well pretty much replace the whole drive train, they had the propeller shaft machiend and welded, drive plate replaced all the bolts, the mounting bolts were stripped and they had to put hely coils in them, replace the engine mounts or mount I cant remember if theres only one, put in a new battery, and a few odd and ends that had too do with the trans. Anyway 1300 bones later is what it cost, Now what do you guys think about having to worry about that again, meaning the trans falling apart lol. They said I should never have to worry about it again but hely coils how strong are they??? The reason this all happend was becaues Iam a idiot and knew the engine mount was getting loose and didnt have it replaced so It came loose and there ya have it. Should I just periodicaly check the engine for movment and go from there

Many times when a mount goes sour the noise is the tip off, in todays world of turn up the radio you could camaflouge gunfire if you really tryed hard enough. Preventative maintenance is the key to having the hours of fun. In the beginning of every season go to the ramp and test the machine on the trailor, feel the warmth of the hoses and observe any fuel/oil/water leaks, take a meter and test the voltage at idle and then lift the throttle a bit to get all the juices flowing, this hour or 2 will give ya 20 back.
