Loss of Power in my 2001 GTX DI

I need help. The maintenance light went on, stayed on. I experienced loss of power ( about half speed) . The dealer checked it on the computer, said engine was good and reset the machine. I took it out and it did the exact same thing. When I called the dealer said it could be the rectifier??
Has this happened to anyone. thanks Sherry

hey Sherry...you can disconnect the red wire from rectifier, and take for spin, if that dont work, least we can rule that out...
