Folks. I am a new owner to a sea-doo speedster. 95. Twin rotax 657x. No test drive available on purchase. First time in the water a continuous alarm went off. Bring it up to 3k rpm goes away. Lots of oil going thru. So deducting what I think it might be would have been temp switch defective or over heating. But because the alarm goes away at higher rpm led me to believe higher temps on idle. So I looked up the diagram for water flow for cooling and I get stumped. Inside the engine compartment the lines that are suppose to feed the top of the head are routed to either side of the engine hatch and have a bolt clamped on the end. Which means to me the only water getting in to cool comes from the line that goes into exhaust. To me it doesn’t make sense with those lines that are clamped going to head which is suppose to be the in-line for water.
