Aside from clearing the fault codes, is there anything needed to do to clear "limp home" mode

The Candoo will clear it. But you will need to service what the issue is or it will return. With one exception. A battery that is starting to go bad. They can throw false codes and the brain will go into Limp Mode and what not.

Tried all that, see my posts above, pretty sure the MPEM is the culprit. Battery is known good and kept on a maintainer. Just was wondering if I missed something simple.

i have the same boat and seems like we are have similar problems.
although i had a melt down on the exhaust that almost sunk my boat.. yea really. after i made the repairs though i am having the beep, limp mode issue.
i just ordered a candoopro, i will keep you posted on what i find out

mine is also giving a beep code "5" , 1 2 second beep every 58 seconds (seem like a bit random way of doing it but...) which also corresponds to TPS, overtemp and 1 or 2 others, very confusing when all the sensors check good and the wiring all checks good.

sorry for duplicate posts but hoping to get an answer
i have made repairs to my 2005 le di,after and overheating exhaust issue and have now hooked up the candoo pro
all checks out ok but i was still getting a beep code shows issue with starter relay after resetting fault code appeared again, but after resetting fault and condition , i have not had any beeps or codes.
am i correct in understanding this, that you have to clear all codes and faults after making any corrections? by the way the relay works fine, boat has never had a starting problem.also can i reset the values for the minimum and maximum readings that are stored?
