:cheers:I used a similar product on my '53 Chevy pickup years ago, it was made by Permatex I believe. When applied it was a cream color and turned black as it cured, has to be top coated. I had the cab off the frame and wire wheeled the entire underneath to remove all the loose scale first. I painted over it with Rustoleum satin black and it looked like new when I sold the truck about ten years later
 
Haven't tried that brand... but I've used the permitex stuff too. Pacer normally makes some of the best consumer market chemicals. I'd use it.

I'm still negotiating with Lou for his house boat, so far he is refusing to throw in Sheridan (his seat cover). I don't drive the truck in the snow and salt. It seemed all the rust developed from just sitting over the winter
