I just ordered this kit from the dealer for an 18 GTI SE 155. I was wondering if any one else has installed it themselves and if so how did it go. From what I understand it's only four nuts and bolts, but you have to reach way under to thread the nuts. It looks like a bitch. The dealer wants an hour of labor which is around $100. what do you guys think? The link is below.

I have not done it but a client has, took him 20 minutes rest was beer time. (drill the holes before the beer so they are nice straight) But 100 usd sounds reasonable.

I received the accessories catalog by snail mail yesterday (bought my new Sea-Doo last year) and I was impressed by the accessories. I think I will get one but I will surely let the dealer install it for me (so it becomes their responsibility).

I wish I could have install a cooler + gas tank but it's one or the other. However, their is a semi rigid bag that goes over the tank. I am planning (more a wish) to go for a long Sea-Doo ride on the Ottawa river this summer so a gas tank my get handy.

Interesting. I was wondering how big the clamps were and if they were in the way. They sent you this new pad because the word Sea-Doo is masked by the clamps. Mine doesn't have the Sea-Doo word on the pad (GTI 90). Guess you had to drill to install it. Did they supply the drill bit with the kit or specified the exact size? Did you buy an accessory with your Linq system? I'd love to see a picture to see how it can interfere in boarding your ski. And also, should you have replaced the pad, how hard is it to remove the original one?

BTW, I had a hard time viewing your pictures. At 7 MB each, they took forever to display tonight like if the forum site was a little slow. Maybe you should reduce them in size before attaching next time if you can (I noticed you were using a Samsung device).

Just got my cooler today.

I believe some bags. A bag can also be attached on the top of the cooler I think.

A gas tank can also be attached but not combined with the cooler.

@skiasylum Have you tried boarding you ski from the back with the cooler attached? Is it a lot in the way?

Looks really clean, nice install. Have you had any problems with it working loose? Does it just screw into the deck or does it have bolts on the back side. Any issues boarding from the water with it in place.

I bought the rigid waterproof box (holds 22 pounds). I almost lost the cover as the hinges are very (too) easy to detach. I had forgotten to tie it and the cover ended up in the lake. Fortunately it is floating and I was able to retrieve it.

I am looking to buy the gas tank also for an extended ride.
