Left ladder down on utopia

So I was driving back from a great day of boating and as I was throttling up I felt a vibration and it felt as tho the boat was dragging.. I let off the throttle and then tried a agina got it up on a plane non issue. Get back to the dock and see that I left the ladder down on the rear of the utopia... Could that cause drag and vibration if the jet propulsion was hitting it ?

Yep,, If the ladder is in the water as compared to on the surface basically planing across the top of the water, it will create drag. Drag often creates vibtation..

Yep... I do it all the dang time with the Islandia. It's amazing how much drag they produce. (and how much extra fuel you will burn) It only took me 3 years to realize when I forgot it down.
