I have an 01 Seadoo RX 951 carb ski and filled up my oil tank only to find it half empty the next day with the rest in the hull. It didnt drop below half though and not sure where to start. I took off the straps to lift it up off the gas tank the best I could but not much room under there and it felt like the whole thing was covered in oil underneath. Any ideas on where to start and an easy way to pull the tank if I need to?

I took mine out through the front hatch but I have an RXX. it should be the same though, unplug tank sensor, use a pair of either vise grips or a hose crimper on the oil line to keep oil in the tank then disconnect oil line and pull it out the front hatch.

The grommet is the black rubber fitting in the bottom of the tank, actually there are two, one for the line that goes to the oil filter and then to the pump, the other is the drip feed for the RV gear and goes to the block. For some reason it's usually the grommet to the filter that leaks. But I would replace both. These are the two most common places for leaks.
