By April/May water gets pretty cold. Can still ride wearing a wet suit but you would have to be pretty game

Oh, I gotta know what you call cold!

My coldest ride was at +3F air, 32.0000001F water. Not at all typical, more of a challenge. Regular riding is air Temps around 45 to 75F with water Temps around 50F.

Around 10deg here is my minimum (50f) had to use a converter

We are pretty fortunate it gets pretty warm in aus but not that bad in the autumn and you can keep riding with a suit, winter it’s definitely in the garage
