Thought I'd drag this back up... Did you sort out your cooling? Tap the pump for that second line?

I'd like to know what got adapted to mate the 1200's PTO out to the 'doo driveshaft... any pictures of that??

A HX racer up in Jersey named Chris does the custom drive shafts for the Kawi conversions. The Rad Dude guys make the adapter plate. This build was one of the first so those parts might be custom made on his.

Rad Dudes is for an HX bedplate, no? That's a '95 720 hull then unless they have a 787 plate.. Chris?? ... Man if that's sorted, it's all downhill from there...

The 150's will be reaching maximum depreciation pretty soon, and they seemed to have sold a fair bit of them...

The 150's are a blast, IMO for the price tag it's harder to find a faster more playful ski... And the acceleration is something any Doo fan can appreciate

Yes. I like the idea of a stock-ish 1200 rather than a more high strung 787 or 947... Plus that torque. That thing hits HARD down low with a little compression..

I'll need to find a 'title-challenged' ski as a donor...

Yessir I couldn't agree more, the low end torque is still competitive with $12k+ skis... Couldn't imagine that in an X4 hull, if you can feed it enough water[emoji53]
