I went and test drove/purchased an extremely well kept 96 XP. It's in beautiful condition. Got the whole package with extra goodies, for $2000!

Only thing that doesn't work are the gauges. The warning lights work fine. But none of the readouts work. Thsi wasn't a deal breaker to me, but i'd still like for them to work at some point. I think it's the gauges themselves. They are full of corrosion, like water got in them at some point. So i'm pretty sure if i just replace them i'll be fine.

Do these go up for sale used very often?? If not are they too expensive new to be worth buying?? Thanks!!

The gauges can be expensive...keep us posted on how you make out. I take it it ran pretty good.

Yeah seems fine!! It's my first time, so the power still scares me. LOL But i'm sure that will quickly pass as i get more comfortable. Engine seemed great!! It started right up quicker then you could get your finger off the button! I'm ready for the adventure to begin!! :)
