Hi guys, just got my new CanDoo Pro. Did all the PC configuring and connected it to my 2018 GTI. Couple of questions.

I have C2114 IBR fault but it is not an active fault. What does it mean? I haven't got the maintenance manual yet and BTW, where can I get it for a GTI 90 2018? See attached files.

Also, I got that message: Notes: If value after setting, is fixed at 8.064 then the TPS value was to high when you set it or something is wrong with the TPS. The new iTC controlled throttle systems work different, when you reset the TPS the ECU will move the throttle to zero take a reading and then return to the start position, this is normally around 10. On all if the value is out of Range it will throw a fault code. If you have a slower pc, do not run the real time monitor while trying to reset the TPS.

I click on Start Monitor and it gave me a value of 11. Did not apply it. What am I supposed to do with that as well? Should I reset or not?

Thanks.

And I thought this would be easy...

Firs,. connected the CanDoo for the first time on my Sea-Doo. CanDoo detected the VIN and asked my if I wanted to use a license. Answer yes and then information about my ski appeared. Browsed through the menus, printed the report, made a few screen shots, didn't save anything to the vehicle (Write Vehicle).

Then I disconnected the wire and came back to house, watched a video on Youtube on how to reset the maintenance message, then when I connected back the CanDoo to my Sea-Doo I received an empty ECU message. Also CanDoo shows I used two licenses and it is asking me to enter a new VIN number for my ski. What is wrong?

Did not go further as I was afraid to wreck something.

Ski is working fine.

What should I do?

Got it to work. These new skis only stay on for 3 minutes so you have to hurry up to program it... but my questions from the first post remain.

P.s. the cluster shuts down after 3 minutes if the engine is not started.

I know you can get lots of good info here as there are many smart mechanics in these forums.
If you just bought the CanDoo Pro, you have access to their forums to get help with the tool.

I think you should start there with questions on operating the tool.

B-T-W, I bought one in the Spring and love having it. So far used it for DESS keys on my 2 ski's..

I asked the question this morning to my local tech (he worked for Sea-Doo for 20 years) and he told me not to adjust TPS. He says it adjusts itself. For the IBR code he says that these are often seen codes and no need for concern there too. Would be nice if someone could confirm this here also. Thanks.
