jet pump seal

What does everyone recommend for sealing the jet pump to the ride shoe silicon sealant or the neoprene rubber seal? What about sealing the jet pump to the venturi can a little silicon sealant be used there as well? This is for a 97 GTS, Thanks.

the jet pump to the pump shoe should only need a NEW neoprene seal. You can seal the upper part of the pump to the hull where the 2-bilge(s) and water line is with RTV silicone.and around the ears where the bolt bosses are that bolt to the hull to prevent air from sucking/siphoning in and causing cavitation.

the jet pump to venturi can be left dry.
