I am familiar with pumps on 90 GT, 94 XP, and 98 GTX.
This Sportster is a bit different and I can't tell if, when performing a pump rebuild, you need to remove the ride shoe or not.
Looks like no, but the shop manual seems to suggest you need to.
I would like to avoid it if possible.
Also, is a pump rebuild kit for this thing the same as a 96 GTX?
