iPhone app issues

I think I am posting in proper place. On the app on my iPhone I can not for the life of me clear the small red number that says I have a message or something on my home screen. It is driving me nuts which is a short trip anyways. Anyone else have this happen or know of a fix.

The small red number next to notifications? This shouldn't be showing in our actual app that you get from the app store. If you click notifications you should be able to clear it.

The actual app. I restarted my phone and it went from 16 to 1 and still no dice

And under notifications there is some there but it won't let me delete them

Try logging your username out and back in from the app. See what happens. If not, uninstall the app, restart phone. The reinstall app.

I uninstalled app and restarted phone. Reinstalled app and before logging in the bubble popped back up and said 3 and I was not even login to the app

ios 9.3.2 is most up to date
