I have contacted my insurance agt to get a quote for the doo. $327 per year!?! It's only worth about $2500 (at most) and without replacement cov the cost is $318!!

Who do you guys use?

I use progres......cost like $697.00 year...valued at $32,000.00. Statefarm wanted $1250.00 same coverage...

We use Shelter, they have everthing we have except the Mirage and our houseboat...

I pay 327.00/year for the 4tec and 315.00/yr for the GTI... That's also full coverage, and come Oct. I cancel both and get half of those amounts back!!!

Boat US

I have State Farm, but I was going to look around for someone else. Have you guys looked at the Boat US? (I got card in the mail.)

I heard us boat is good...but progres...beat their quote. I always look around couple times a year..they always seem to be changing quotes..

State Farm in Fl. is not writing any new business. So I went to progressive, they were the least expensive for the same coverage. GTI SE 155 clean record. This is with $500 ded. 250 ded. on trailer, Liability 10/20/10, Unisured boater 10k, Med. 10k. $294/yr.

yeks...you coverage is bare basic bones...10,000/ 20,000/ 10,000...Geezs I have 300,000/ 400,000/ and 300,000. now a days 10,000 won't even cover 2 days in the hospital... and I own a business, so I have to protect myself more.

Limits

We are at 300K as well. I have to call tomorrow to get coverage over the holiday. I will just have to pay it for now. (Better safe than sorry!)

Since im looking at boats, I called my agent that I have been with since I was 16 (23yrs.). He said that he hasnt written any policies lately, but that jet boats had been expensive to insure in the past. He quoted me the same coverage as my vehicle, 100/300/100 with a dedutible of $250 instead of $100, and a value of $15,000. It was about $40 a month.

Since they have everything I own, I would just stay with them.

Well, I got a different agt in the same office and was quoted $224. I took it. They then asked for a picture ASAP. I took the picture and sent it to the email address they gave me.....it was a bad address. :rofl:
