Impeller upgrades

Hi, I got 96 challenger... I was that I need a new impeller, wear ring and exhaust rubber gasket. So, I was looking at stak trak swirl for my boat. Wasn't sure which pitch should I get, even though I already researched thru forums.. Some people saying 17/22 or 14.5/22.5?? I basically use boat for towing tubes, skate, wake... Possibly skiers but I don't want skiers cos I know they usually pull hard than other water sports.

Go to the skat trak site or IMPROS.com and look through their charts. It depends on whether you want more bottom end oomph or more top end speed.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I did look up skat trak chart, I see only 2 pitch sizes.. (14.5/22.5 for bottom-mid) and (17/22 for high speed). I wasn't sure which's best for my boat... I guess I ll just go with 17/22.

Update: 17/22 swirl for sure... and now, as for jet pump-- 139mm or 139.5?

That would depend on what you want. If you get a "high end" impeller you will normally loose low end performance. Such as out of the hole and towing for example. If you get a "low end" impeller, you will gain low end performance but loose on the top end.
