Ideas for the wood grain plastic/instrument panel?

Hello, looking for some ideas. My instrument panel and glove box are the wood grain plastic, they have faded in the sun and I'm trying to find a way to either clean them up or re do them. They are not cracked or broken , just sun faded and my wife hates the look of them.. Ideas ???

The faux woodgrain on my boat steering wheel is peeling. I'm probably just going to find a regular black replacement wheel.
