I need help!

This morning i took a look at my hull of my brand new seadoo,and there was a sticker on it from the dealership with a barcode on it,and it was kind of falling off so i removed it,but when i did i noticed under it was a chrome piece about three inches long with words on both sides and something in the middle. i dont know what it is,and if i should do something about it.

Almost sounds like a VOID IF REMOVED type of sticker. Like a license plate sticker. When you peel it off it leaves a chrome like backing that says void....

That said,,, I would have to look at my skis to see if I have the same label to help you identify it or what it said...

here are two pictures of it. from your pictures it doesnt look like it is on yours. in another post a person said it was a rfid tag which just tracks the inventory in and out of the warehouses,im thinking that is what it is.
