I just put an Optima in my Maverick. Now I have an extra battery. What to do?

I thought we were trying to avoid hasslee and spending $

1.) load test new found spare voltage source @ local auto parts store to verify if battery is not just something you have to keep until HAZMAT pickup day.

2.) Fully charge extra battery b4 next day on the water.

3.) Place battery into boat, preferably where it won't arc, along with 1/2" wrench, (or 10mm depending on your clamps), and flat blade screwdriver.

4.) Enjoy a day on the water If your main battery goes dead, ...

That was actually my first thought, just haul the spare battery around and use it ONLY IF the first one dies.
