Hydro-turf "Gripper" seat cover material?

Looking to re-cover my seat.
I see that Hydro-turf has 4 materials
Vinyl, carbon Fiber look, Gripper, and suede.

Im interested in the gripper, but saw a disclaimer that it can irritate bare skin.
my wife sometimes rides with me, concerned that her legs will get all chaffed up since she only wears a bikini.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this stuff?

Yes it will, in fact thats what I had on my gsx and it tore my legs up. The carbon fiber look is kinda rubber like and probably woulndt be as bad. I did plain vinyl and carbon fiber.

is the carbon fiber any "grippier" than the vinyl?
Just looking for a little more body hook up in the turns.
The seat on it now is old, and slipperier than whale snot.

I did put a nice black tip seat on my 97 spx, and its pretty good.

I would say yes but not too much.

I would suggest JetTrim and medium slip vinyl for the top.

I like JetTrim, but their online store is horrible. Cant seem to get to my model Ski.

Yep, went to look at Jettrim and gave up, their site sucks, its like a 6yr old made the site.

Call jettrim or email. They have patterns for each seat you pick the colors but you can't preview it online I know it sucks but they make the BEST covers in the business.
