HX fuel lines

i'm getting ready to rebuild my carbs and replace all fuel lines and fuel filter on my 1995 HX and i need to know the size of the fuel lines, also what are the best clamps to use, and any suggestions. thanks

First off, do not go to auto zone and get the clear plastic 1/4 inch ID lines they do not fit. (learned it the hard way, bilge full of fuel.....long story)Coast Gurad says you have to get marine approved fuel lines. Get the fuel injection 1/4 ID fuel line from Auto Zone. It has the braided interior and get the fuel injection hose clamps. They will not eat into the hose.

Measure the length you need and bring a sample with you so you get the correct size. Be sure to use “Black Fuel Line” Replace one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up. If you need clamps replace them too. Use small stainless steel clamps also from the auto parts store.
