I have a 1996 seadoo Gsx an the oil tank cracked and also i dont like oil injections at all cause thats how alot of ski's get blown up and the pre mix never fails. So what all do i have to do to block off the oil injection?

First thing is you need the tank no matter what.. The oil lines to the bottom of the case lubes the rotary valve.. You need leave some oil in the tank..
I have my machines using premix, it does foul out the plugs from time to time
if you run at low RPMs... Like when my wife is riding.. If you want to go to premeix you need to remove the oil pump shaft and gear.. They sell block off kits for this.. www.sbtontheweb.com

yeah just like the other guy said remove pump n injection lines n install kit. The kit is cheap but if you have a rotary valve you have to keep that oiled. I was told two different ways. 1 remove tank n lines and take the lines that run to both sides of the engine (exhuast side and carb side). Fill one line up with seadoo oil(till it comes out of the other side you are connecting) and conect them together.2 is simplke keep the tank and keep the feed and return line to the engine and tank. Just cap off the oil feed to oil pump. Just did mine today. Im a first timer n worked like a charm. Plus takes all the guess work out of it. Good luck

Seadoos use a variable injector system meaning it use different amounts of oil at different rpm's so it is uses less oil. If you go to pre mix you better bring extra spark plugs as it will be fouling them because it has the same amount of oil at all rpm's, and not just more as needed at high rpm's. If you do go to premix you should not remove the oil tank as it allows the oil in the rotary valve to use the same oil as the injector and it properly vents the oil too. If you tie the oil lines together there is no vent and it could cause problems of feeding the oil properly to the rotary valve. Most users stick to the injector pump unit to be ecomonical and less agraviation. But each to their own.

I did it to my wave runner and havent had a problem and my friend did it to his XP. All my dirtbikes were premix. You know why its variable? Cause at low RPM its not sucking as much fuel so to remain the say 32:1 it doesn't need as much oil. Theres why its variable. It needs less oil to remain that mixture. Where the premix remains the 32:1 non stop also. Its the same exact thing cause when it pulls lesss fuel its 32:1. And another good thing is when the injector pump fails my premix remains 32:1 where your injection = Burned up engine. Iv just seen to many fail lik the one on my friends Seadoo XP , the one on my GP1200 and also more than i can count on the yamaha blaster's

Beins my tank has a crack i think im just going to hook he 2 big lines to another tank that is smaller and will fit in there
