93xp trying to verify rpm since my tach is not working. Hooked up a timing light and says around 6000. Do I cut that in half since it is a two stroke engine? This is out of the water, trying to make sure the rpms are high enough out of the water because it won't start in the water but starts great out of the water.

Your engine fires both plugs together... so your plug actually fires twice per revolution. So... if you have an automotive light on it... and it's thinking that the plug is firing every other revolution... you should be cutting that by 4x.

So... 6000 RPM would only be 1500 RPM. (actual)

your Seadoo should be at 3000 RPM out of the water... so your automotive light would be at 12,000.

But... since I don't know your tool... I can't say for sure.
