How many sensors?

Does anyone know how many sensors are on the Seadoo Challenger? Not sure what manual it would be in. I have “SENSOR” coming up when I start it but it disappears and there are a series of random beeps every now and again. The boat runs perfectly except for the annoying beeps. I know I could Diagnose with a Candopro but I dont have one.

the numbers of beats indicate the error....i am pretty sure. The only sensor i am aware of is the temp sensor which monitors lake water( engine temp).

Thanks. The Seadoo boats are in fact “riddled” with sensors. I found online there are at least 6 hence why I am asking. The beeps are quite random - 1 sec & 2 sec but without any discernible sequence.

Many times, on startup when SENSOR comes up and then goes away it is a depth finder error.

Thanks for the response. I sort of had that as a suspicion as my depth sensor isn’t working very well. Do you know where it is located? I also receive random beeps so is this related?

The transducer is located on the port side near the muffler. Mine was bad and I had the SENSOR message as well.

There was a tag with the part number on the cable. I replaced it with a used one from eBay.

Thankyou for responding. Did your sensor message also have random beeping? I have been told the only way to truly diagnose the fault is to buy the BUDs/Candoo tool but at $1k it’s a bit rich.

I don’t recall any beeps beyond the regular start-up beeps. Just the “sensor” message on the cluster at startup and then no depth reading. I paid about $40 for the transducer.
