How do you tell what year it is
bought a 1995 seadoo speedster twin rotex last week

super fast
and have not found out where it says year on it is it 95 0r 96 not sure

also was told it is twin 85 how can I tell if this is also ture

Normally the last two digits of the HIN are the year. I assume this is true for the boats as well.

On the housing facing the front there will be a tag with 717 on it.
The larger 787 engine have a RAVE exhaust system and will have two black cap with red center into the cylinders.

Coastie correct on last two digits on vin towards back of boat.

Ok that makes it a 95 then last 2 number
