Pokerman is right....If this model is equipped with the DESS (digital eletronic security system),
then you'll need to get a new lanyard. You'll need to take it to a dealer who can program your MPEM to a new lanyard. Take your proof of registration. This is the security system and they won't just reprogram your MPEM to recognize a new lanyard without proof of ownership.
