Hot Rods crank

Does anyone know if hot rods crankshafts are still as bad as they were a few years ago. (Rotax 720). thanks Jyrki

I honestly haven't heard of anyone using them since they got the bad reputation of failing.

Call Hot Rods and ask them. Always good to get the other side of the story. If there were issues they will tell you what they where and what they did to correct it. Then it will be your choice. Good Luck.

I would find it hard to believe HotRods would tell you anything about failures but I could be wrong.

Sure they will. I do it when I need to and getting the good information has saved me a lot of money at times. $5k on a prop for my plane. Using the word "failure" is never going to get information. It puts them on the defensive.
