Hood Slam Pneumatic Cylinder

I don't know if it's supposed to do this or not, but I'd perfer it didn't.


Is there a way to fix a slamming hood on my 02 GTX? I'm afraid someone is going to let it slam down and break the latches. I am taking about the storage area at the front of the ski when you refill the gas etc.

just don't slam it... You could loosen up the latch assy so it closes with less force, but still seals.

try to incorporate a gas shock(got mine off ebay, 10buks ea, they have the hardware also), between hood and hull.
