I have seen a number of these at the lake.

Does anybody have any knowledge of how they stack up against Sea Doo?

Honda has a pretty good reputation for building stuff right. Did they get their PWC right?

Just curious.

Seadoo/BRP has the market on PWC, with Yamaha probably a distant 2nd. Kawa trailing behind in 3rd.
I recall seeing Honda had more models years ago (maybe I'm dreaming) but I would tend to think in this current market they would let it die. Heard a few good things, but launch/handling still didn't stack up.

I heard Honda is starting to pull out of the rear position there. They were definately off to a rocky start tho. I gotta say tho it doesn't matter how crappy of skis honda builds because Honda people would still buy them. . right after they finish there starbucks that is JK. Nothing against Honda cars because I think they make good quality cars but the rest of there vehicles are just average but people buy them because they are so loyal to the cars. They seem to get away with overpricing most of there other vehicles (aqua trax, dirtbikes, etc.) as a result.

I dont like that hondas. I know they have good motors BUT they have a bad hull design. It take the honda more power to go the same speed as the seadoo's and yamaha's.

The Honda ski doesn't seem to be very popular here in S.W. Florida. Not many dealers either. It wouldn't surprize me to see them get out of the jet ski business.

not bad...

Brother-in-law, has one, believe its 04/05..F-12X. Skis' a rocket, at 3k, turbo kicks in, and feels as if, you'll be thrown off.
They do about 4-5 runs a year, between 10-15 hrs. each outing, and ski has yet to have a problem.
BUT..., raced against the supercharged SeaDoo, and the seadoo kept jetski length whole time,...got'm at the start...
