Hi All,
Just purchased my first new boat in 24 years, and it's a Sea-Doo Challenger 180 SE (2008). It's replacing a 1984 Four Winns 16 footer with a 90HP Evinrude that finally blew the engine (may she RIP).
I did a lot of research before deciding to get the Challenger 180 SE, and it's being delivered to Balch Lake, ME this Friday. I can hardly wait
I have 3 "kids" (18, 24, and 26 years old), and this will be a family boat in the sense that my wife and I like to fish and cruise, and the kids like to ski and tube.
I'm hoping there's a "Newbie" or "FAQ for Beginners" section I can look at on the Forum. Otherwise, if there's anything a brand new owner of a jet boat should know, please tell me!
Thanks in advance for all the great info I plan to get, and I'm looking forward to being able to provide some help to other newbies once I have some experience.
