i think it has to do with the rave not opening. the first time i noticed the bogging i pulled the rave valve apart and noticed that the bellows was not attached to the housing so any pressure was not pushing the piston up and pulling the rave valve open with it. knowing i needed new o-rings on both and bellows on one of them i put it all back together and took it out, which i shouldnt have done until i had the new parts. when i took it out, the first few times i trottled up, there was no hesitation at all. around the 3rd or 4th time, the hesitation was back so i opened the engine comp and found the rave cap melted, which was caused by the o-ring being bad. so i got the new o-rings for both and a new piston and cap and replaced those and took it out. bog was still there so i was kinda confused until i checked the valves again and noticed i had tightened them too tight and they were not moving in the housing at all. you should be able to pull up on the piston and it should move slightly, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. i reassembled them and made sure that i was able to pull the piston up and it pulled the rave valve up with it. i will check this week to see if that was the issue. so in conclusion, i think i had 2 different things causing the rave to not open correctly. 1st was bellows were not attached to housing and 2nd was tightened too much and was not able to open. hopefully it works. let me know if you have either of those issues.
