Hello,

New to the forum but I have a 1998 GTX RFI with a 787 RFI SES Premium Reman engine and the Owners manual and Shop Manual Differ on the proper GAP for the NGK BR8ES recommended plugs.

The Operators manual states 0.039" whereas the Shop Manual states 0.024-0.031" so I am not sure so I went with 0.027" is that correct? Seems to run ok but at lower speeds and idle seems to foul plugs?

Do a load test on your battery, and check that your stator and regulator are working properly.
