Help Please! Issues with a 98 GTX Limited. Will not take the gas.

Thanks for all the input on the top speed for a GTXL. Now I know what to expect next summer. Getting ready for winter here so no more water fun for a while but I do have the snowmobile season to look forward to.

my gtxl is right on 60mph on choppy water according to speeddo (not gps) feels fast!

well, at least i THOUGHT i was going faster after i fixed the motormounts/alignment/carbon seal...i GPS'ed it today, turns out a actually LOST .1 mile an hour...topped out at 47.7 instead of 47.8 BEFORE the repair...
Boy, what I'd do just to hit 50...hmm...
mine kinda sucks outta the hole anyway, kinda bogs...thinkin its due to the premix...so would a different impeller give me an extra 2mph on the top end? if so, what kind?

buy a 260 not only will you gain the 2mph but you'll add about 20 more...at 16K+ that's only $229 per mph.
