Ordering a carb rebuild kit from OSD. I'm doing the al a carte since I don't want the needle and seat. Question is do I need the large or small carb gasket for a 94 xp 657? Also just to make sure, they add an option for a formed o ring, is this the funny shaped ring that goes on the same side as the filter? Link is below to those wondering.

The carb reference chart here might be of some help to you. Your ship uses the 38i Mikuni. I would guess that translates to the 39mm gasket on the list you linked to. The only other o-ring (other than the fuel pump and needle and adjuster valve ones) that I'm aware of is that one that is often referred to as a pretzel. I have a 93 XP but not sure if it differs from a 94.

I still got the pretzel. I didn't expect them to reply on a Sunday but they did. It is the I ring were talking about.

OK great. Yes they answer quickly even on weekends. I thought they also have a live chat but I could be thinking of another vendor site. So many sites, so little time and money.

You might want to run a leak test and also a popoff test while you have the carbs apart. Although the needle and seat may look good they might leak, as well as the o-ring that seals the seat to the cavity it sits in. A visual inspection won't always assure you they are good. Flood the needle cavity with a light oil or wd40 and run a leak test and a popoff test. As long as you have the carbs off and apart, reusing the soft expendibles is not always a good way to save money, in my opinion. I guess that depends on how much you love taking the carbs on and off and apart and much money you have to spend on toys. Then again, if you have a SeaDoo, you better have a lot of both love and money.

As long as you're in there you might want to check the check valve. I had one that caused me a bit of trouble requiring a second teardown.

They emailed with me at like 11:30 PM one night, verified they had the parts I wanted even though their site said 0 in inventory. They're customer service is amazing.
