help gtx 95 rebuilt carb now it bogs

i rebuilt my carbs did everything right adjusted carbs to spec has 140 psi compresion both cylinders took to the water ran 5 min very well went to go back to dock and then it bogged out and stalled it restarted but continued to bog was running before rebuild but now it bogs when given gas rebuilt because leaking gas from carb had hole in rubber does run jut boggs oil pump was tested used drill oild dripped out injector tubes while out in water noticed the exaust pipe had pin hole in it at one of the aluminum disks on the upper exaust tube fixed that still bogs though can anyone help

hey boss...double check the settings with this...
1995 GTX 657X 270500259 270500258 BN-38I (SB) MAIN-132.5 PILOT-75 1.5n/s 19psi - 35psi LOW- 1-1/4 HIGH- 1/4.
Did you mess with the needle and spring assy?, install different float arm spring?
You may need to double check the psi on the n/s(needle and seat) assy...

replaced with all original sizes

i replaced with same sizes of everything did not do a pop off test i just matched the sixe of the spring but the color of the spring was darker they sent 2 sets one silver one darker put darker in because it was the same size but now i see its not size but color that matters coult this cause it to stall it seem to be starving for gas

yep...need to install the original one, or the small grey/silver of the two(came with kit)...your psi, way too high...

hey rbb....do yourself the favor, unless you did before, dont take offense, but pull everything and clean..main/pilot jets, lsa/hsa..etc:cheers: and spray the heck out of it..

i did clean it all well and replaced jets

i did clean it well and put new jets in same #size new eveything springs arm pin adjusted arm set high low jets 1 1/4 and 1/4 like i said it ran great for about 5- 10 min then it started dont think it overheated or anything had good water flow engine seemed cool just warm but not hot scolding it was touchable that for sure it was weird ran great then just bogged it will restar but bogs at open gas about 1/2 open and dies i looked at the spring again and i do think i put the right ones in i still have the black ones i thought i put in so not sure this is the problem yet im going to do a pop off test thanks for everything

I reused my original springs since I wasn't entirely sure which of the springs in the kit were the right ones.

also, when install'n the spring/s, make sure the float arm is level with inside carb body..
