After rebuilding all stock 97 gtx carbs this is the readings . Carbs were set to stock settings 1 low and 0 for high. Low end breaks up a bit. Full throttle is smooth.
I would check your carbs again. if that ski is stock and you used the right carb kits i have yet to see a ski need to be changed different then stock...maybe thats just me though
As far as the oil goes, it should be correct if you’ve lined up the marks correctly. Did you check your popoff pressure after you did the carbs? It looks very rich to me, so you’ve got something going on there...
You could turn the low speed slightly. I noticed in my case that it was running better with 1/8th of a turn extra. But as @JeremyD615 mentioned, the stock settings should be more the rule than the exception.
He’s running rich though, which would need the screw closed rather than open. Having to go much less than 1 turn isn’t normal, so I think there’s something more going on with the carbs...
Is the choke stuck partially closed?,,is the flame arrester clean?. Have you tried new fresh plugs? Is it charging? Have you load tested the battery?,,Have you done a compression test?
