Soooo....
I just purchased a 1994 Seadoo spi from a friend of mine.
This ski has been garage kept its entire life. For the last 10 years, the ski was used 2 times a year maximum. 3-4 years of that 10, the ski never saw water. The ski looks brand new.
I have owned her for about 5 weeks going out 2-3 times a week and love it.
We are now looking for a second ski, this time a 3 seater.
Can someone give me basic information about the 1994 SPI.
The purchase did not come with a manual. I know she has the 5?? Rotax with single carb.
She is plenty fast. Just looking for info and guidance. I want her to last forever.
Regarding the 3 seater we are looking to purchase, I would like to stay in the 1994 to 1998 range. Doesnt need to be the fastest. This ski would be for me and my wife to ride on together. Now knowing the SPI is too small for the two of us (you should have seen us trying to on the ski together for the first time....LOL...OMG....LOL), I would like to find a ski that will handle the two of us. (me 180lbs, her 165lbs) Since the SPI pulls a tube without issue, I am sure a 3 seater would do the same, maybe even better.
Let me know what ya think.
Thanks in advance.
