Motor was not running,I had rave valves out and spark plugs out, checking the clearance for new rave valves,In the process i was doing, a small nut dropped and found the opening for the spark plug and dropped into the cylinder,(I couldn't hit the hole if i was aiming for it!!!)I removed the 2 piece head to get nut from the cylinder,My question is ...when i re-assemble the head pieces to the cylinders with new O-rings,What type of sealant should i use...Looks like the last owner used a bunch of clear sealant on all the surfaces, thanks guys,787 motor

Actually the black o-rings around the cylinders get Loctite 518 per the manual. The large head shell ones go on dry as well as the orange spark plug o-rings.

It looks like I stand corrected. However, my 2 787's in my challenger 1800 do not leak with rubber seals only.
