Guest turned my gtx upside down for about a minute

So I let a couple of guests take out my 1998 GTX candidates 951 yesterday and they turttled it unbelievably. Turned it upside very quickly and got it back to the dock, got it started and it ran perfect the rest of the day. Should I look into anything or am I good to go?

Nothing sounds amiss....they are design capable of being turtle'd and uprighted quickly. If it started right back up and ran fine the rest of the day....doesn't sound like anything is wrong.

I've seen jetski's fully submerged (on purpose) and popped right back up and out and nothing is wrong.

I wouldn't worry....but if your guest managed to flip the ski....they was really working it.....so you might consider a better class of "guest"....just sayin''''':confused::)

Let me just say it happens... My wife has had her 2003 GTI for over 8 years now and sometimes even rides in just shorts and a t-shirt instead of swimwear and brags how dry the ride is and you can't flip it. Then last summer when she took a friend out for a ride I came around a corner and it was upside down and they were both swimming after it, LOL.

Seems to be indicative....1 person on a ski = stable as all get out while under power, the ski might throw you if you are working it too hard but almost never will you flip it...BUT....2 people on a ski and "turtle" time = more weight and they start to get a little bit un-stable and one false move and it's dunk time.

I am never fully confident about any skis stability with a passenger on board, so I will keep the rpm's down a tad and I watch the water conditions more closely (unless of course it's one of those monster skis = small boat that can handle more weight).

I learned that the hard way. Took my new-to-me 97 GTX out and convinced the wife (not a good swimmer) it was totally stable. Then did an idle speed sharp turn and into the drink we went. She wasn't happy but insisted on driving it to get over her fear. Sounds like all is well with yours though.
