While running today ski just cut off.
When I try to restart the engine it won’t roll over at all I can’t even here the starter solenoid click.
Ski sat for about 30 minutes and started back up and ran for maybe 3 minutes and did the same thing.
Could this be my start stop switch?

I also want to add when I put the dess key on the post I get the normal two beeps just nothing happens when I hit the start button.
Ski has been running normally up until today other than fouling plugs every few hours which I’ve just been dealing with.

I am also having this same issue. Mine
Starts and runs but out of nowhere it will just die like the key loses connection
Take the key off plug it back in it will start and die out
Like it has a mind if it’s own.
Not sure where to start here.

Just to update
I’ve been having a little trouble with my start stop button as in I have to push really hard to get it to work so I’m going to go ahead and replace it and hopefully that’s the problem.
Does anyone have a good source for OEM?
I’ve found a couple used ones on eBay,
I haven’t been able to find a new one.

Sometimes it is just the red rubber cover that makes it hard to push the start button. OSD Seadoo sells that and the actual switch if i remember correctly.

@DJGTI
I went with an aftermarket item when i replaced my start switch for my 720.

Seadoo New OEM Start / Stop Switch USA LIFETIME WARRANTY XP SP SPX GTX button | eBay

The guy offers a lifetime warranty on the switch and actually shows its material and quality in listing photos. Haven't had problems at all.

The only difference I've noticed between the switches was the one he sells doesn't have the raised button. Pic is of the new switch installed with me holding the old oem one.

I ended up ordering a used OEM off eBay as I couldn’t find one on the OSD site.
It seems to be in great shape but I haven’t had a chance to install it yet.
If it doesn’t hold up I’ll definitely go that route.
I’ll update the thread as soon as I get it installed.
Praying this is my problem and isn’t something more intrusive or expensive.

Ended up being a broken ground wire that was right in front of my face !
I totally missed it and ended up ordering a new start stop switch and when that didn’t fix it I opened the electrical box and jumped the solenoid and it would roll over but wouldn’t start.
After that my father n law walks up and says hey what’s this broken wire.
I felt like an idiot for overlooking something so obvious
